The Upper Ottawa Valley OPP is investigating a bank robbery downtown Pembroke.
The robbery occurred at the Royal Bank of Canada (RBC) branch on Pembroke Street West around 4:30 pm on Tuesday, July 5th, 2022.
The OPP says an unknown individual entered the bank, indicated they had a weapon and demanded cash from an employee.
Police say the employee was not injured and the suspect fled the scene with a quantity of cash.
The OPP and canine unit have not been able to locate the person responsible yet.
The suspect is described as a white male, approximately 50-years old, wearing dark clothing, a baseball cap and had a dark bandana covering their face.
