Some parents with school aged kids will be getting a notice from the Health Unit soon.
The Renfrew County and District Health Unit is required by the Immunization of School Pupils act to keep up-to-date immunization records for students within their catchment area, and will be getting in touch with parents and guardians of kids whose records need an update.
If your kid is caught up on their shots and you still get that notice, you can give the health unit an updated record of it through the Renfrew County District Health Unit website.
You can also call their Immunization Information Line at 613-732-9436 or 1-833-773-0004.
If your child still needs to get some shots, the health unit is offering catch-up immunization clinics. The schedule is also on their website.
