The County of Renfrew Health Committee has approved over $636,000 in work at Bonnechere Manor long-term care home in Renfrew.
Health committee is recommending county council award Perth Roofing the contract to replace a flat section of roof at a cost of $217,159.
The roofing project came in $54,000 over budget and it’s recommended to use reserves to pay for the shortfall.
As part of the June 15th meeting, health committee also recommended that county council award Country Caretakers from Renfrew the contract for work in the courtyards at Bonnechere Manor.
It will cost $360,114 to complete the Pinnacle South courtyard with turf replacement and concrete works and to replace the turf in the three other courtyards.
