Police have arrested a number of residents from Ottawa, Pembroke and Eganville.
It’s part of what the Guns and Gangs Unit in Ottawa called “Project Whitewater”.
Four people are facing drug related offences.
The Ottawa Police Service says an investigation started in March and this week search warrants were executed at homes on Mowbray Street and Highmont Court in Kanata and on Cecil Street in Pembroke.
As a result of the investigation two men from Ottawa, 21 and 22-years old, have been arrested and charged with trafficking cocaine and other cocaine possession offences.
The Upper Ottawa Valley OPP says 38-year-old Ryan Charles Grife of Eganville and 49-year-old Kerry Ann Stitt of Pembroke have been charged with possession of fentanyl.
Ottawa Police are not publicly identifying the two other suspects at this time as more charges may be laid.
