Good news on the state of Renfrew’s water flowed at the Town Council Meeting on May 24th.
Development and Works Director Mike Asselin shared their most recent Ontario Clean Water Agency Report Card at the meeting, and tells myFM that the town is either meeting or in-range of expectations.
Asselin cites the town’s infrastructure as a big reason why the OCWA is happy.
He also says keeping the town in the loop regarding it’s water supply is critical.
The OCWA runs Renfrew’s water treatment and waste water plants. Both plants are meeting most of their targets, and are not failing in any category that would require immediate action.
