When it comes to their new Chief Administrative Officer, the town of Renfrew has their man.
Peter Emon, Reeve for the Town of Renfrew, says Robert Tremblay is a long-tenured CAO who is jumping on board after a successful stint in Whitewater Region.
Reeve Emon tells myFM that Tremblay will spearhead the town’s vision moving forward starting later this month, as the committee of senior executives that originally assumed the responsibilities of the CAO position have since begun to look at life past municipal office.
In making the switch to a single person in charge of Renfrew’s daily administrative duties, Emon notes it marks a new era in how the town is run.
While Tremblay will be introduced to town staff in the coming days, his first official day as Renfrew’s Chief Administrative Officer is June 27th.
