The agenda for municipal meetings in Arnprior always includes a “County Councillor’s Report,” and at the meeting of May 24th, representative Dan Lynch shared news of the retirement from the upper tier, effective June 30th, of Alastair Baird, Renfrew County’s Economic Development Officer.
Baird is a resident of Arnprior, and no stranger to Mayor Walter Stack, who served as Reeve for several terms at County.
Stack says his former colleague’s plans include a healthier dose of Mother Nature.
The Arnprior Mayor says Alastair Baird’s contributions can’t be underestimated.
