Residents in Ontario can now file papers if they plan to run in the fall municipal election.
Notice that you plan to run for council must be submitted before Friday, August 19th, 2022 at 2:00pm.
Voting day in the 2022 municipal election is October 24th from 10:00am to 8:00pm, however there will be other advance voting opportunities.
For example, advance voting in Petawawa will be available for local residents at the Civic Centre on October 15th from 10:00am to 6:00pm.

A provincial election in Ontario is also set for June 2nd, 2022.
