The Upper Ottawa Valley OPP has arrested two people and seized methamphetamines and a firearm following an investigation into a break in enter.
Police were called out early Monday morning (April 25th, 2022) to a break and enter in progress at a residence on Russham Road in Laurentian Valley.
25-year-old Andrew Rathier of Laurentian Valley has been charged with:
- Trespassing at night – two counts
- Break and enter a place with intent to commit an indictable offence
- Possession of a prohibited or restricted firearm with ammunition
- Break and enter a dwelling house with intent to commit an indictable offence
27 year-old Jordan Michael Miehm-Thom of Bonnechere Valley has been charged with:
- Break and enter a place with intent to commit an indictable offence
- Trespassing at night
- Possession of a schedule I substance – methamphetamine
Both accused have been released from custody with a court date coming up in Pembroke on May 31, 2022.
