The Upper Ottawa Valley OPP has charged one person in connection with the death of a 38-year-old male from the Pembroke area.
Back on July 5th of 2021, police and paramedics responded to a home on Wilfred Street in Pembroke and located Mitchell Wayne Dick dead at the location.
44-year-old Craig Maynes of Pembroke was arrested and charged on April 20th, 2022.
Maynes is charged with manslaughter, criminal negligence causing death, trafficking methamphetamines and trafficking fentanyl.
A bail hearing will take place today (April 21st, 2022) in Pembroke.
