The Arnprior Regional Health Foundation’s Catch the Ace Lottery has resulted in a 35,934 dollar payday for local resident Karen Bird, who, until recently, could claim she had never won anything.
Karen says her family members may have already decided four times over how her winnings will be spent, but concedes she does have the final say.
The cheque was presented at the McNab-Braeside office of McEwen Homes, in the presence of president Scott McEwen Thursday (April 21st) at Noon.
Foundation Executive Director Ben Gardiner gives a shoutout to the principal sponsor of the ARHF Catch the Ace lottery.
Gardiner says the next big fundraising event for the Foundation is the Jeep Adventure Lottery, for which tickets are now on sale.
