Pontiac Police have made two arrests in the Municipality of Clarendon near Shawville on Good Friday as part of an operation to crack down on drug trafficking.
A search was made as part of the operation in a residence on Route 148 on Friday April 15th. Officers with the MRC Pontiac say they found and seized the following in the residence:
- 75 methamphetamine pills
- about thirty grams of cocaine
- approximately 260 grams of cannabis
- more than 5 grams of WAX
- about ten grams of hashish
- 20 grams of magic mushrooms
- nearly 170 tablets of prescription drugs
They also confiscated more than $19,000 as well as various other items used for drug trafficking.
Police have arrested a 32-year-old man and 58-year-old woman in relation to the case. Their names have yet to be released.
