There is a major shortage of school bus drivers across Renfrew County, resulting in bus route cancellations. Robert White, General Manager of the Renfrew County Joint Transportation Consortium says there are some qualifications that they will need if you are applying for a position, but they will help you get what you need.
White also says there are routes available across the county.
The General Manager says they currently have one route shut down due to the shortage.
White says the situation is simple, if there are no drivers, there are no buses on the road to school. Application details can be found at onthebus.ca
