
The two long-term care homes owned and operated by the County of Renfrew are monitoring COVID-19 outbreaks. An update was provided to county council on Wednesday afternoon (March 30th, 2022) by the Director of Long-Term Care Mike Blackmore.
Blackmore told county council there are two separate cases of COVID-19 confirmed in different units at Bonnechere Manor in Renfrew. He says one unit at Miramichi Lodge is out of outbreak status and another unit is being monitored with one positive case.
The Renfrew County and District Health Unit is also monitoring outbreaks in a number of other high risk settings including; Groves Park Lodge in Renfrew, Teen Challenge Eastern Ontario Men’s Centre in Renfrew, Arnprior Villa Retirement Home, Island View Suites Retirement Home in Arnprior and Supples Landing Retirement Home in Pembroke.
