This Saturday, you’re being encouraged to turn off the lights for a bit.
Every year, at 8:30 pm on the last Saturday of March, supporters in over 190 countries and territories unite, taking action on and raising awareness of the issues facing our one home.
If you’re wondering what to do this year:
1. Reconnect with the great outdoors: Nature is essential for our health and happiness! So spend the Hour outside with friends and family.
2. Cook up a meal for your family or friends: How about dining in the dark this Earth Hour? While you’re at it try to cook up some planet-friendly dishes.
3. Spend time with your loved ones: Play board games, listen to music, sing or dance the night away together.
Earth Hour is a movement for our futures, for the benefit of people and our shared planet.
