The Greater Arnprior Community Council on Poverty and Homelessness (GACCPH) is presenting three panel discussions next month to discuss local options regarding the current housing crisis in our town.
The sessions, slated for April 12th, 20th and 27th will be hybrid models with space for about 20 participants in person at the Arnprior Library as well as over ZOOM.
Each session starts at 7:00 PM and pre-recorded panel presentations will be followed by a live Question and Answer (Q&A) session.
Topics include Housing Alternatives, Garden Homes, and in-dwelling accommodation.
Megan Postin, Chair of the Housing Subcommittee for the group, says the GACCPH sees the sessions as a way of contributing the the necessary knowledge base.
Postin believes Town Council is serious about its inclusivity mandate.
The Housing Subcommittee chair says those with lived experience can help drive the process forward.
