Spring is here and the 15th annual Seedy Sunday event returns to the Ottawa Valley.
Event organizer Cheri McConnell tells myFM you’ll find openly pollinated non-genetically modified seed that’s grown in our area so it grows in our climate zone.
She says the event did not take place last year due to COVID-19, but is excited to see it return on Sunday, March 27th from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm.
Seedy Sunday will be hosted in the greenhouse at Seeds of Creation in Eganville (8744 Highway 60). McConnell tells myFM she is starting to see more people turning to self sustaining lifestyles and growing their own food.
Vendors and those wishing to participate are asked to reach out to Cheri at seedsofcreationeganville@gmail.com or by calling 613-559-1833.
There is no cost to attend the 15th annual Seedy Sunday event.
More information can be found on the Ottawa Valley Seedy Sunday Facebook page.
