A wide selection of Snowmobiles are expected to be on hand for the Calabogie 500 Snowmobile Race at Calabogie Peaks.
They’ll all be running up five hundred feet of ski slope to see who is fastest on April 23rd.
Owner of Northeast Snowmobile Racing, Justin Hulsizer is organizing the event. He talked to myFM about how the course will be set up on the day.
Hulsizer went on to say that the event is for many different types of snowmobiles.
He adds that while the event is safe for drivers, there is still plenty of thrills.
Originally the event was planned for April 9th, but was moved to the 23rd to allow for an extended ski season.
Registration will take place at Calabogie Peaks between 8 and 10 in the morning on the day of the races.
