Environment Canada has issued a Freezing Rain Warning for the Valley.
According to the forecast, freezing rain is expected overnight into Sunday with ice accretion near 2 mm possible.
The heaviest freezing rain is expected to fall Sunday morning before changing to rain showers.
Officials warn surfaces such as highways, roads, walkways and parking lots may become icy and slippery.
