Some warmer temperatures can be expected in the coming days across the Ottawa Valley.
Environment Canada is calling for a daytime high of 12 degrees with periods of freezing rain on Sunday (March 6th, 2022).
That’s a big change from this morning (Thursday, March 3rd, 2022) as it currently feels like minus 24 with the windchill.
On Monday, we will see a high of minus one, Tuesday, temperatures will rise to plus one and Wednesday will get up to a high of three.
Environment Canada meteorologists say as is the case every year, March is expected to see gradually increasing temperatures as we approach the beginning of spring.
Weather experts say below-normal temperatures are forecast for the first few days of March, followed by a warming to above-normal temperatures for the first weekend of the month and then a gradual return to colder-than-normal the second week of the month.
