Sunday February 27th was a busy day for Renfrew OPP on the 417 in Arnprior.
Over the Noon hour officers received a traffic complaint and stopped the vehicle it concerned.
A 34 year-old Ottawa woman was charged with impaired, Over 80, care and control with both alcohol and cannabis visible, and Highway Traffic Act infractions of driving while under suspension, drive motor vehicle-no licence, failure to surrender suspended licence, and failure to surrender insurance card.
She was released on an undertaking and is scheduled to appear in Renfrew court on April 6th.
That same evening another traffic complaint on the 417 resulted in 35 year-old Matthew Morgan of Winnipeg being pulled over and slapped with numerous charges including impairment, multiple cocaine and meth possession charges, taking a vehicle without consent, possession of property obtained by crime, improper plating, driving without a licence, failure to surrender licence and failure to comply with a release order.
The accused remains in custody and is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice via video link on March 7th.
