Join the Greater Arnprior Chamber of Commerce for a “Lunch and Learn” on Friday at Noon.
The Topic will be Renfrew County’s Living Wage- which was calculated in 2021, and it came out to $17.40 per hour. A living wage looks at the real expenses workers must cover while also enjoying modest participation in their civic and cultural community. It is the hourly wage that employers can pay to be sure that their employees are able to make ends meet. Speakers are Lyn Smith of CPAN, along with certified employer Dez Blair-Patel from Integrated Health Centre and Anne Coleman from the Ontario Living Wage Network.
