Today marks Angelman Syndrome Awareness Day, an annual campaign for the extremely rare disorder, resulting in intellectual and developmental delays. Robin Audette has a daughter with Angelman Syndrome and says the disorder is challenging.
Audette does say that science is making some major breakthroughs with hopes one day having a cure or extremely enhancing quality of life.
The local Mother mentions that she has high hopes for the next generation dealing with Angelman Syndrome and see the awareness campaigns get even bigger.
