Renfrew County home sales set a new record for the month of January. Homes sold through the MLS system totaled 109, seven more than the year before and a new sales record. The average price of homes sold in January 2022 was a record $488,657, a substantial increase of 46.8 percent from January 2021. The dollar value of all home sales in January 2022 was $53.3 million. Active residential listings numbered 102 units on the market at the end of January. Active listings haven’t been this low in the month of January in more than 15 years.
