Back in 2021 the Renfrew County Community Upgrading Program, also known as the Training & Learning Centre of Renfrew County, (TLC) received a $74,600 Resilient Communities grant from the Ontario Trillium Foundation.
Friday of last week (February 4th) they held an online event to acknowledge the program which helped in its rebranding, and provided COVID safety equipment for participants.
MPP John Yakabuski was present to acknowledge the accomplishment.
The Eganville facility now has new desks set up for greater distancing of the learners, and plexiglass barriers to facilitate isolation.
The grant will be fully utilized by the end of March.
