Attempted murder charges have been laid against a 32-year-old male from McNab/Braeside.
The OPP says on January 4th, 2022, around 9:30am, police and paramedics were called to a home in Arnprior.
A 32 year-old female was transported to hospital via air ambulance with life-threatening injuries.
The victim died from those injuries on Thursday, January 20th, 2022.
A post mortem examination is scheduled for Monday (January 24th, 2022).
The OPP arrested and charged a 32-year-old male from McNab/Braeside Township shortly after the incident.
The individual remains in custody and is facing attempted murder charges.
He will appear in court via video link on February 7th, 2022.
The name of the accused and the name of the victim are not being released at this time.
