We’ll be hearing more about a recent funding announcement with local implications next Monday, as MPP John Yakabuski joins Minister of Heritage, Sport, Tourism and Culture Industries Lisa Macleod for a virtual media echo between 1 and 1:30PM on January 24th. The pair will elaborate on local funding in Renfrew-Nipissing-Pembroke, including $62,800 to the County of Renfrew to renovate and repair the County’s recreational trail and improve accessibility for year-round-use.
The Progressive Conservative colleagues will also celebrate $330,000 being given to the Town of Arnprior which will assist in the repair and replacement of the rink dehumidification units to decrease moisture to allow for greater use of the Nick Smith Centre in the community.
