Sections of Highway 7 are closed due to the ongoing winter storm.
The OPP says Highway 7 is closed in both directions between Highway 417 and Sharbot Lake.
Police say this is due to multiple vehicles in the ditch and poor visibility caused by weather conditions.
Drivers are asked to avoid non-essential travel if possible until conditions improve.
Environment Canada is calling for anywhere between 30 to 50 centimeters of snow.
Wind gusts up to 60 kilometers an hour visibility will be further reduced due to blowing snow.
