Designated front-line workers who are parents of school-aged children are once again eligible to receive Emergency Childcare at no cost through a Ministry of Education program administered locally by the County of Renfrew.
That’s Director of Community Services, Laura Lepine, who says the Child Care and Early Years team is working in partnership with the licensed child care sector to ensure that the free emergency child care program is delivered in a way that is consistent with the ministry guidelines.
Community Services has put up posts announcing the rollout of the program on its Facebook, Twitter and Instagram accounts, and is asking that you share these to your respective social media networks to help reach as many eligible frontline workers as possible.
