Two local hospitals are monitoring COVID-19 outbreaks.
The Renfrew Victoria Hospital (RVH) has been on outbreak status since December 28th. 2021, with confirmed cases on the third floor continuing complex care unit.
The Pembroke Regional Hospital (PRH) declared an outbreak on December 31st, 2021 with confirmed cases on the second floor medical unit.
Both hospital emergency departments remain open for urgent care, however there are a number of restrictions for visitors.
