The Renfrew County and District Health Unit (RCDHU) is reporting a 13th person has died from COVID-19.
That’s the second local resident to die from complications due to the virus in the last week.
The daily case information, last updated by the RCDHU on December 31st, 2021, showed an additional 86 cases being reported across Renfrew County and District.
The detailed case summary put out on December 30th, 2021, showed nine local residents in the hospital, including one in the intensive care unit battling COVID-19.
There’s currently 332 active cases of COVID-19 in Renfrew County and District.
