The Arnprior Optimist Club wants to take your Christmas Tree off your hands.
Members will be doing their annual Christmas Tree collection fundraiser on Saturday January 8th.
Optimists ask that you place a donation of five dollars or more in your mailbox in an envelope marked “Optimist Club”, or tape the envelope to your front door.
No need to indicate your address on the envelope as club members will be making a circuit through the whole community.
Your tree should be placed at the end of your driveaway before 10AM on Saturday the 8th.
Don’t leave any decorations on it, and don’t bag it up in any way.
Remember, the Town does not do its own Christmas Tree collection and disposal.
Some of the trees collected will be given to goats on local farms, and others will help delineate snowmobile trails across the river.
