A Freezing Rain Warning has been issued by Environment Canada.
The forecast is calling for precipitation in the form of light snow or ice pellets, transitioning to freezing rain. This freezing rain will continue for a few hours before changing over to light freezing drizzle this afternoon.
Surfaces such as highways, roads, walkways and parking lots may become icy and slippery. Take extra care when walking or driving in affected areas. Ice build-up may cause tree branches to break.
