The Nature Conservancy of Canada (NCC) will begin necessary trail maintenance and upgrades at its Gillies Grove Nature Reserve.
The news was included in the Information Package provided to Town of Arnprior Council December 13th, and commented upon by elected representative Dan Lynch during the ZOOM session of that date.
Work being done includes removing and trimming hazardous trees, updating signage and refining the trail
system to streamline the existing network.
Lynch notes the trail system will consist of three main elements, the first of which traverses some old growth forest in the heart of Arnprior.
The other forks are Cross Grove Trail, Hemlock Loop and the Dan Street Access.
