Arnprior Council will be dealing with a key project in 2022, as the Town’s Water and Wastewater Master Plan is past due for an update.
The document was last revised in 2013 and the estimates regarding growth the last plan contained have long been outstripped, according to Mayor Walter Stack.
At Council’s December 13th session, elected representatives voted to award the job to Stantec Consulting for a value of 197,890.61 dollars.
The task was not tendered, but rather awarded to Stantec, who had prepared the original plan, on the basis of a standing order sheet.
