Renfrew-Nipissing-Pembroke Member of Parliament Cheryl Gallant has announced that the Canada Summer Jobs (CSJ) Program is officially accepting applications for positions available throughout the summer of 2022.
For 2022, CSJ is returning to its regular parameters and will offer quality jobs over the summer months.
Jobs will need to be full time with a minimum of 30 hours a week and last for a duration of at least 6 weeks; the term of employment will need to end by September 3rd, 2022.
In order to be eligible to receive funding, employers must be able to provide workers with a job placement in a safe work environment conforming to COVID regulations.
Funding opportunities are available to all not-for-profit organizations, public-sector employers, and small businesses with 50 of fewer full-time staff.
Applicants must create job opportunities for young people ages 15 to 30 years.
The application period remains open until January 25, 2022.
