Two people have been arrested and charged after an armed robbery in Bonnechere Valley.
The Killaloe OPP says on November 1st around 2:45am, an unknown person entered a residence with a firearm and demanded cash.
The victim was assaulted and received minor injuries.
As a result of the police investigation 33-year-old Marissa Schoenfeldt of Golden Lake and 39-year-old Cory Laing of Renfrew are facing charges of robbery with a firearm, theft under $5,000, forcible confinement and for unlawfully being in a dwelling.
Schoenfeldt was also charged for breaching probation and release conditions.
Laing is facing additional charges of using a firearm while committing an offence and discharging a firearm with intent.
Both accused attended a bail court hearing at the Ontario Court of Justice, Pembroke, and remain in custody.
