One of the potentially biggest employers among the six German firms relocating or opening subsidiary operations in McNab-Braeside is just days away from opening its doors.
That’s according to Township Mayor Tom Peckett, who appears to have scooped even his municipality’s social media with the news.
Wolf is into agricultural building and structure fabrication and two to three hundred positions are anticipated.
Peckett says Wolf is in the process of registering its trademark domestically.
Wolf, and Romakowski are the two largest potential employers and could hire could hire up to five hundred workers between them.
The McNab-Braeside Mayor says while splashy announcements make for good headlines, there’s a lot of necessary activity behind the scenes.
The other firms are Fliegl, Fech Fenstertechnik, TLT Structures and Liebherr Canada, working in accessory vehicles, building materials, and construction equipment fields.
