Arnprior’s 2022 Budget process is underway.
On Wednesday (December 8th) the virtual session was what is described as a “budget consultation” where stakeholder groups under the municipal umbrella make presentations as to their needs for the coming year, and members of the public have opportunity to comment.
The Mayor says there will be no further activity on the file now until the new year.
Stack says there will be two February meeting devoted entirely to budget review, but the cut and trim task is often accomplished in just a single session.
Stack anticipates the budget will be adopted towards the end of February.
