About thirty people attended the in-person Greater Arnprior Chamber of Commerce Annual General Meeting Tuesday evening at the Nick Smith Centre.
GACC President Gabe Leclerc, says in 2021 there was no lack of Chamber activities, they were just different activities.
Leclerc says a big drive to encourage residents to shop locally was extremely successful.
Despite the perceived COVID downtourn, 11 new businesses joined the Chamber this year.
There are three changes on the Chamber’s board- one member has returned, and two new members were recruited.
The GACC President says things are looking good for 2022 as the Chamber will have some of its traditional events back, and the virtual programming will also support members in their growth.
In-person events for next year will be Awards Night, the Business Case Competiition for Bursaries, the Chamber Golf Tournament and Fall Fest.
