The OPP has arrested and charged 21 people as part of Project NIELD.
The project focused on drug trafficking in Pembroke.
This morning (December 2nd, 2021),the OPP executed eight search warrants at locations in Pembroke, Renfrew and Arnprior.
At this time police have arrested 21 individuals and multiple charges are pending.
The OPP seized suspected fentanyl, cocaine, crack cocaine, crystal methamphetamines and psilocybin.
Thousands of dollars in cash was also taken as proceeds of crime.
The investigation is on-going and further arrests and charges are anticipated.
