It’s that time of the year where businesses are preparing for holiday shopping season.
To give the local economy a boost, the Renfrew BIA is promoting downtown businesses who remain open for later hours leading up to Christmas.
BIA chair, Christina Ouellet says she understands many local business owners also work as full time shopkeepers, so she urges businesses to select one day out of the week for later closing hours.
Downtown businesses who want to take part in the Open Late ‘Til Eight initiative are asked to contact the BIA.
