Steel shipment delays are throwing a wrench into plans for the Ma-Te-Way Expansion Project.
Director of parks and rec with the Town of Renfrew, Kevin Hill told council the design team is reworking designs to determine if trusses or beams will be used.
Nevertheless, Hill gave council an update of the construction site at this week’s meeting.
Steel was set for erection by the end of the year, but now it’s expected to go in in February.
Town staff are waiting for an update on steel delivery dates and on project costs.
Hill says foundation work is on track to begin early December.
