This Remembrance Day has been described as one where commemorations take us half-way back to normal.
Arnprior veteran and County Councillor Dan Lynch has his eye on all things “Remembrance””, and at Monday’s municipal meeting, he noted that Queen’s Park will plug an obvious oversight in time for Remembrance Week observances in 2022.
Lynch advised elected representatives that there has been some adjustment made to accomodate COVID protocols at this year’s Arnprior observance.
There is no parade or bus transportation, but a reception will take place for those with proof of vaccination back at the Branch afterwards.
The audience in attendance, while masked and socially-distanced, will be treated to a special component to this year’s commemoration at 11:11AM.
