The County of Renfrew has approved a request from the Town of Renfrew to add in two new pedestrian crossings.
The first pedestrian crossing would be at the intersection of Bruce Street at Raglan Street North near the Renfrew Victoria Hospital.
The other pedestrian crossing would be at the intersection of Barnet Boulevard and Raglan Street South, near St. Joes High School.
The Town of Renfrew has agreed to accept responsibility for all costs associated with the initial construction of the crossings including pavement markings and signage.
The Town of Renfrew will also be responsible for the future replacement of the Pedestrian Crossing equipment.
The County will be responsible for the annual maintenance of the crossing and signage.
