Buttertarts with raisins or good old fashioned plain tarts?
That’ll be the hot-button topic of debate at the upcoming Buttertart Festival.
Bakers will get the opportunity to showcase their tarts, and there will even be a buttertart contest.
Organizer, Tracy Keller says blind-folded judges will only be able to use their taste buds to determine the winning tart.
It’s being held on November 7th from 10 to 4 pm at the Renfrew Ag Centre.
At the event, there will be a donation box with proceeds going to the Ag Society, and fees from display tables will go to the Ag Society as well.
