An Otter Lake man faces charges of of possession and distribution of child pornography, accessing child pornography and improperly storing a firearm.
Investigators from the Sûreté du Québec’s Child Sexual Exploitation Division, assisted by officers from the SQ’s MRC Pontiac station, arrested the man in connection with child porn offences that had occurred between 2011 and 2021.
Police carried out a search of the suspect’s home, seizing computer equipment for analysis.
Archille Belland, 56, appeared at the Gatineau courthouse Tuesday (October 19th) to be arraigned on the charges.
