The Renfrew County and District Health Unit (RCDHU) has confirmed that one student from Our Lady of Fatima Catholic School and one student from St. Joseph’s High School in Renfrew have tested positive for COVID-19.
The health unit is working closely with the Renfrew County Catholic District School Board to ensure necessary measures continue to be in place within both facilities.
Staff are actively investigating the cases and all high-risk contacts have been notified that they have recently been exposed to COVID-19.
Both schools remain open for in-person learning.
