An Arnprior resident is facing additional charges after two more teenage victims were identified from new evidence in a sexual offence case.
On August 24th, the OPP arrested and charged 30-year-old Alex Finan following a four month investigation.
After police seized several electronic devices, two additional victims, 15 and 16 years old, have now been identified.
Additional charges include:
- Transmit sexually explicit material to a person under 18,
- Luring a person under 16 years of age by means of telecommunication – 2 counts
- Makes, prints, publishes or possession for the purpose of publication any child pornography section
- Possession of child pornography
- Voyeurism
Members of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Renfrew Detachment, with assistance of the Renfrew OPP Crime Unit, arrested and charged Alex FINAN, 30 years old, after a four month investigation on August 24, 2021.
The accused remains in custody and is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Renfrew at a later date.
