The Town of Arnprior wants to update its Community Improvement Plan (CIP), and has hired consulting firm WSP to make recommendations on improvements.
The current Arnprior CIP was adopted by Council in June 2011.
An update to the CIP will allow the Town of Arnprior to continue to help build a foundation for future economic growth and sustainable development.
The objectives of the CIP update are: to evaluate the Town’s current CIP and incentive programs, using community feedback and applying lessons learned over the past decade.
to make updates to the CIP and incentive programs that reflect changing priorities and conditions such as the revitalization of the historic Downtown.
The Community Improvement Project Area (CIPA), where the incentive programs will apply will be re-evaluated as part of the project process.
The initiative is expected to be complete in early 2022.
Existing input that remains on file will be included and community members are invited to provide additional feedback and ideas by taking part in an online survey until October 4th.
